Seeking a Manager of SEC Reporting to assist with leading the key external financial reporting processes, including preparation of Forms 10-Q and 10-K, and will also provide technical accounting support to the company. This person will have high visibility from working at all levels and functions of the organization to support the implementation of new accounting pronouncements and other special projects. This person will gain exposure to our senior leadership team and have the ability to fully learn the business.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

The individual in this position will:
• Take a significant role in preparing the Company' s quarterly and annual SEC filings
• Assist in the completion of the US GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists for all SEC filings
• Prepare clear and organized work papers that adequately support the Company' s SEC filings and the internal/external audit process
• Prepare benefit plan financials
• Perform detail reviews of work performed by other team members
• Assist in the research, evaluation and implementation of new accounting pronouncements
• Support the implementation of special projects related to revenue recognition (ASC 606) and lease accounting (ASC 842)
• Research the accounting for complex transactions and implement conclusions
• Partner with Finance, Transactional Accounting, Legal and business units on key technical accounting issues
• Update and maintain accounting policies for consistency and compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements
• Ensure that proper internal controls are performed and documented to support SOX compliance initiatives
• Serve as liaison to the Company' s external and internal auditors
• Assist with special projects and other activities as needed

Experience and Skill Requirements

• CPA with 4-5+ years of experience with a public or private accounting firm, with exposure to SEC reporting and technical accounting research
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations, combined with the ability to research complex accounting issues
• Experience with complex financial analysis and review
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• SAP and Workiva, XBRL experience is a plus, but not required
• Energetic, proactive individual capable of succeeding with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work outside normal business hours to meet project deadlines


Education Requirements

Bachelor or Master' s degree in Accounting or Business
